Nature-Based Early Learning Conference

The 2020 Nature-Based Early Learning Conference is moving online!

The virtual conference will take place July 29-July 31, 2020.

The Natural Start Alliance's annual conference is the nation's largest professional event for teaching, administration, research, and advocacy in nature-based early learning. We are developing a platform to showcase the amazing work of nature-based early childhood professionals from around the country and beyond. We will share more details soon. For more information about this change, see this message from Natural Start's director.

We're excited to return to Cincinnati, OH for the 2021 Nature-Based Early Learning Conference! We will be back in person July 28-31, 2021 for all of the energy, networking, site tours, and connection that the in-person event offers.

The Nature-Based Early Learning Conference helps you to:

  • Plan, run, and advocate for nature preschools, forest kindergartens, K-2 outdoor learning, and other nature-based early learning programs
  • Learn about strategies, curricula, and documentation in nature-based early learning settings
  • Improve fundraising, marketing, and other administration tasks associated with nature-based early childhood programs
  • Learn about the latest research on early childhood environmental education and best practices in teacher preparation
  • Network with nature-based early learning professionals from your region
