National Policy Huddle

Who We Are

Advocates across the United States, many of whom also operate early learning programs, are helping create new avenues through which young children can access and benefit from outdoor experiences in early learning settings. Natural Start’s National Policy Huddle brings together educators, researchers, and other advocates and movement builders from around the country to reflect on progress, contribute to a shared resource hub, and learn from one another as they work to advance state-level ONB early childhood education policy.

Meeting Schedule

The National Policy Huddle meets monthly. Meeting dates and times are shared through the Huddle's Google Group and with calendar invites for group members.

Who Should Join This Network

The National Policy Huddle is designed to bring together advocates who are currently working to advance state policy to encourage outdoor, nature-based early learning experiences. Advocates in the Huddle are at various stages of advocacy, and most are also connected to state-level groups like those represented in Natural Start's State Networks Alliance.

How to Get Involved

This network is organized and managed by the Natural Start Alliance. To learn more and find out if this group could be right for you, contact Natural Start's policy advisor, Kit Harrington, at [email protected].
