New research from Dr. Amber Fyfe-Johnsnon of Washington State University is adding to the (already very large) body of evidence supporting the need for children to play and learn outside.
Her new research suggests that children in outdoor preschools may benefit from better gut health than children who attend preschool primarily indoors. Final results of the study are expected later this year.
