The Early Childhood Weather Guide is a two-page resource for early childhood programs to support safe decision-making for taking children outside.
Developed by the Natural Start Alliance in partnership with Dr. Aliza Yair, this resource:
- Explains various weather conditions and terms
- Describes key practices for keeping young children safe, healthy, and comfortable in the sun, rain, snow, and at high or low temperatures
- Provides a quick reference guide for temperature-related illness and first aid
