    Emily Johnson

    Emily K. Johnson is an early childhood educator and researcher. She is a teacher at a nature preschool in Minnesota and received a Fulbright to Norway, where she conducted research and had a corresponding practicum at a Norwegian nature preschool. Her professional experience also includes observations of nature-based early childhood programs throughout the U.S. and Europe. Currently, she is finishing her Master’s in Environmental Education, focusing on cold weather practices and policies at nature-based preschools and advocating for the importance of cold weather outdoor play.
