Denver Audubon Nature Preschool

Denver Audubon Nature Preschool, located at the Kingery Nature Center in Littleton, Colorado, offers a fully outdoor, nature-based early learning experience for children ages 3–6. Rooted in the belief that nature is the best classroom, our preschool provides hands-on, play-based opportunities for children to explore, wonder, and learn in all seasons.

Guided by experienced early childhood educators and naturalists, children develop curiosity, confidence, empathy, and a deep connection to the natural world. Daily adventures in forests, meadows, and wetlands nurture problem-solving, creativity, and resilience while fostering care for wildlife and the environment.

As part of Denver Audubon—a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring actions that protect birds, other wildlife, and their habitats—our preschool integrates environmental stewardship and early education. We value inclusivity, community, and the joyful spirit of discovery that comes from learning outdoors.
