At Tender Leaves Outdoor Preschool, our mission is to provide a unique, nature-based early learning experience for children ages 2.5–7 that lays a strong foundation for future success. We believe childhood is a time of discovery, adventure, and limitless potential. By blending structured learning with child-led exploration, we inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child. In our safe, supportive outdoor classrooms, children are encouraged to explore, play, and grow – developing essential life skills along the way.

We nurture the whole child – mind and body – by combining educational excellence with the joy of nature. Your child will develop a deep love for the natural world while also building early academic and social skills for kindergarten and beyond. Our vision is to redefine early childhood education in Kitsap County by showing that a program can be both wild and whimsical and highly intentional. We’re proud to officially become the only licensed outdoor preschools in the area with the smallest class sizes, setting a new standard for quality and accountability in nature-based education.
