Urban Green Harvest

Urban Green Harvest is a working urban farm in Boise, Idaho, offering nature-based educational programs for children and families through our Outdoor Preschool, Farm School, summer camps, CSA program, and seasonal community events. Rooted in hands-on learning and connection to the natural world, our programs give children opportunities to participate in real farm life through gardening, harvesting, animal care, outdoor exploration, cooking, creative projects, and practical life skills.

Located on a small working city farm, Urban Green Harvest combines sustainable agriculture, outdoor education, and community connection to create meaningful experiences that help children build confidence, curiosity, responsibility, and a deeper understanding of where food comes from. Families who support our farm through educational programs, CSA shares, camps, workshops, and farm stand purchases also help sustain hands-on outdoor learning opportunities for children in our community.

We believe farms can be places of learning, stewardship, creativity, and connection where children and families can slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the rhythms of seasonal living together.
